Due to lack of school funding we don't always have the newest books for our students to read.
We are a middle school in the Midwest with 400 students.
One of our main goals is to encourage literacy and reading by providing good literature. It is always a challenge to have the resources needed to obtain this goal. Our media center wants to provide the books that would encourage students to read. We want to be able to tell students that we have the latest titles for them to enjoy in our media center.
My Project
I am requesting books to complete the "Young James Bond Series", the "39 Clues Series" and the "Charlie Bone Series." Our students don't have the money to buy books for themselves. We want to make these books available in the media center for their use. Students are always asking for the most recent books and you can help by donating to this project. The students will be able to complete their reading goals for their Language Arts classes.
You can make a difference in the lives of our middle school students.
Books can open up a whole new world to students who need these resources to achieve their goal to be life-long learners.
