How would you feel if you had browsed and read all the books in your library? My students cannot wait to put their hands on new books!
Our class is a multi-aged (3- 6 year olds) Montessori public school classroom.
My students are very inquisitive and are self-motivated to learn more. They love read aloud time and are always on the edge of their seats to find out what happens next in the stories I read!
My Project
Last December, I started author study with my students. They were so into it!!! After we learned about the author and the illustrators, we read several books by them. The students enjoyed comparing and contrasting these books. Now, they are eager to meet new authors that can help with their comprehension skills.
With these books, my students will be able to distinguish different authors' styles, infer about the message that the authors want to get across, and learn the different story elements.
This donation will provide my students with strong roots for their literacy skills that will forever be useful and ensure their success! Thank you in advance! =)
