This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative, ambitious, and have a deep love for learning. They every single one of them has started to develop a love for learning even being virtual classroom. Despite many of the challenge they fact in and outside of the classroom, they push through and show up day after day ready to learn.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best greatly differ.

This year I would love to incorporate more of a variety of learning strategies, teamwork, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful.

My Project

Our students are currently learning in a virtual world, this means they do not have access to their classroom library. By donating you help our kindergarteners gain access to books so that they can grow their love of reading.

With your help our students will each be given a new book to add to their library!

This book "You Matter", will spark joy in students as they have read "Last Stop on Market Street", which is illustrated by Christian Robinson. By connecting these two books students will want to explore more books to see what is out there.
