Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My goal is to divide the food amongst my students to make sure they have some healthy food over break. All of our students are eligible for free lunch, and many students are from homes that struggle to put food on the table. For some students, the meals at school and the snacks we provide are their main source of food. With this food, we can make sure our students have meals and snacks while away from school on Spring Break. We are in winter and some parents lost their jobs so we try to provide our students with more food but we can't continue without this donation.
This will give them some relief by providing some of the food needed for the students over the break.
