This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our current students' curriculum is outdated and downright boring. United Stated History is anything but boring! We want to bring new life into these classes through two classroom sets of 30 books each dedicated to teaching the United States Constitution: one as the new textbook for the classes, and one as a visual text that differentiates learning for all students. These will be used by each class on a daily basis. Many whole discussions, Socratic seminars, and deep reading practices will be applied using these as our guide and context.
