Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school has a garden club and community garden that helps teach our students about many different concepts/subjects. We need to replenish our seed to plant, organize them, and add to our gardens resources. In the list, you will find that we are needing a nice cart to move things around, seeds to plant, an organizer for those seeds, a solar fountain to attract butterflies and birds, benches for our students to sit on, a composter to teach about scientific breakdown, books to teach students about what is going on in the garden, and a storage shed that can lock and be kept outside.
With your help, we would be able to provide resources that directly positively impact the entire schools community garden and support learners as they interact with science, math, and environmental lessons that are sure to leave a lasting impression.
