This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
After 2 years of a worldwide pandemic, help our students dance again! The CPE II Dream Team is a dance and step team comprised of 6th-8th graders. Every student who auditions for the team is accepted because we believe that everyone should be given the opportunity to experience the joy of dance, regardless of skill level. Each week, these passionate and dedicated students spend hours of their time after school to practice and perfect their dance technique.
Now that things are finally opening up again, we want to give our team the opportunity to perform and share their joy with others at the NYC Dance Parade.
In order to do this, we need a speaker that is powerful enough for the outdoors. Performance opportunities give students something to look forward to and create memories that will last a lifetime. We need your support to make this possible!
