Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
At the beginning of year I read my students books like "Chairs on Strike" and "Crayons on Strike" to teach them about the importance of taking care of our materials. Most of the time, schools do not fund us enough money to get our basic materials such as crayons and markers.
I look at the materials at the end of year and wonder if my students are eating them!
They either go missing or just need replacing. Please help our classroom and learning by donating towards our markers, crayons, and dry erasers. These materials will help students give written answers during mini-lessons. We use wipe boards and markers during math lessons, reading lessons, and writing lessons. Crayons will be used for art projects that we do in the classroom. Teachers laminate sheets as to not waste paper during the school year. They make tasks reusable for our students.
