My students need three iPads for access to technology during small groups and whole group to help with reading and math skills. Currently our classroom has no technology. The iPads will serve as a tool to help enhance the students knowledge.
I work with a great group of students. These students are eager to learn and have great attitudes towards learning. Many of them have many strong points in reading, writing, and math. They also do the best they can, and are willing to go above and beyond when trying to help their peers.
Most students have made a significant amount of growth in the classroom.
I have seen them persevere in difficult times. They are hard workers and always improving in ways that may be difficult to others.
My Project
We need three iPads for access to technology during small groups and whole group to help with reading and math skills. Our classroom has no technology for small group and center activities. The iPads will motivate them to learn and retain concepts in all subjects: reading, language arts, math, science and social studies.
These iPads will enable my students to have hands on interaction with technology everyday and prepare them to become digitally aware for the 21st century.
Using the iPads will aid them in their daily assignments as well as classroom projects that they have to complete throughout the year. The Ipad's will also serve as a tool to help assist students with learning strategies for PARCC, which is a Third grade state exam.
