This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This is my second year teaching children on the autism spectrum, and I’ve done the best I can to supply my classroom with the resources they might need to succeed. My students have a variety of deficits, and these items can help their educational development and the learning process! Students struggle with sensory and academic deficits. These items (communication center, social emotional books, sensory toys, magnets, slime, disinfecting wipes, and word games) will allow them to access the curriculum and better equip them to be successful in their education and daily lives. Many students also have social-emotional struggles, and all of these items will be helpful.
