Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are a remarkable group of teenagers who are eager to learn and grow, despite the challenges they face. They bring diverse perspectives and creativity to our classroom, making it a dynamic and inspiring place. Many of them struggle with reading and language skills, but they are determined to succeed. With this e-reader, they will have access to a vast library of books that will meet them where they are and push them to where they want to be—whether that’s mastering English, excelling in academics, or preparing for life beyond high school.
My students will explore new ideas and build their confidence as they dive into age-appropriate texts that match their interests and support their growth as readers.
From compelling novels to science and history resources, they’ll explore topics that spark their interests while improving their reading comprehension and English skills. The built-in features, like instant definitions and text customization, can help them build confidence as they read. This project is about more than academics—it’s about the students understanding that the world of knowledge is within their reach and empowering them to take the lead in their education.
