it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to school always excited to learn and explore the world. As they learn about the world around them, they also learn about their emotions and feelings as they interact with friends and adults. My students need a safe and calming learning area in our classroom where they can take a mental break and regulate their feelings whenever needed. The flexible seating, fidget toys, and games will go toward our calming area. The calming area will allow my students to take time to understand their emotions and positively regulate them.
