it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a dedicated teacher at a public school in South Los Angeles, I strive to create a learning environment where all students feel equipped, supported, and inspired to succeed. Unfortunately, our school does not provide basic classroom supplies, and we often run out of essential items like pencils, paper, and notebooks.
Every year, I find myself purchasing materials out of my own pocket to ensure my students have what they need—not just to learn, but to feel valued.
These supplies are more than just tools; they’re a symbol to my students that someone believes in them and their potential.
