Help My Students Talk!

Please help me give my students a voice! Nine of my 14 students are nonverbal, and only two have personal devices. An iPad would allow me to download a text-to-speech app.

My Project

I have 14 special education students, of whom are nonverbal. We work hard daily on speech and teaching them to communicate their needs. Two of them have personal devices, and the other seven are constantly being assessed for one. An iPad would allow me to download an app that would be their voice. I would use models (e.g., an ear, a drink, a bathroom), and they would be able to communicate these things to us. My students deserve the very best, and currently, they don't have that in terms of communication.
