Help My Students Study Electricity With Motors & Generators

My students need 1 Van de Graaff Generator, 1 Electric Current Balance, and 1 Electric Motor Generator.

I teach Physics to 10-12th grade students with a limited budget to purchase demonstration equipment.

I am always looking for ways to peak the interest of my students and expose them to exciting demonstrations but with limited supplies often find it difficult to do so. My students always ask for hands-on examples of the principles of electromagnetism and having access to such items will prepare them for college lab studies and courses.

If I have a Van de Graaff generator, electric armature motor and electric force balance, I can create meaningful hands-on lab demonstrations for my students. There are many benefits to my students of having access to such equipment, but the most important would be giving them opportunities to perform experiments dealing with electromagnetism that I am not currently able to. The equipment will also help prepare my students for the college science lab environment by giving them opportunities to create hypothesis's and then design and carryout their own experiments.

Your help will ensure that my students have the opportunity to perform hands-on experiments with the properties of electromagnetism. The equipment purchased through your generous donation will make it possible for me create demonstrations that will increase my students understanding and appreciation of Physics.
