Help me give my students a CricutMaker 3 cutting machine to enable me to prepare proportionally scaled shapes and letters from a variety of materials for arts integrated projects combining math and literacy with visual arts.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students, although economically disadvantaged, are the best! We are an urban school in Trenton NJ with a high concentration of English Language Learners. Students come to my classroom happy and motivated to learn.
I would like to get a cricut maker 3 machine for my classroom so that we can easily cut out shapes and letters for arts integrated lessons, from a variety of materials.
I have lessons on collaborative Gee's Bend quilting, and a variety of other math integrated lessons planned for my primary school students. Having materials pre-cut to scale will help my students to be creative while grasping concepts in their core content areas as well.
