Help My Students Learn to Read!

Help me give my students resources to teach them to read. These supplies will help them write, read, and make new words and increase their vocablulary.

My Students

I teach two classes of first grade students that are participating in a DLI Portuguese classroom. I only get to have each class for half the day and need to teach them to read. Phonics and reading is crucial in the success of these students lives.

If students can learn to read on grade level by the end of first grade they are almost certain to succeed in school.

My Project

My first grade classroom is a DLI classroom where students spend half the day learning to read and half the day learning to speak Portuguese. These students need to learn to read in half the time of other first graders.

Learning to read by the end of first grade is essential to student success in education.

These materials will help my students by given them hands-on tools in the classroom that help them make and learn many new words. Please consider donating and help me to help my students.
