Help My Students Learn to Love Reading!

My students need Early Readers to help build a strong foundation and a love for reading.

FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Pullen's classroom raised $491

My Students

I have 18 amazing & enthusiastic students ready to tackle new adventures each day! They are always eager to learn and they love to exceed all my expectations! Just as there are no 2 children exactly the same, there are no 2 children who learn the same. I strive to keep my instruction interesting and fun!

I know all of my students are excited to come to school each day and are willing to try their best at each task they are given.

The students come from a variety of ethnic and economic backgrounds. Our school is a Title One school and is 100% Free Lunch. My students have big dreams, but need the tools to help them become successful.

My Project

All students will be able to choose books that interest them. The best way to increase reading ability is to read more. These books will continue to help my students grow stronger in reading. My students already have shown an astonishing interest in reading, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.

My students need Early Readers to help build a strong foundation and a love for reading.

With the new leveled books, my students with special needs will enjoy the colorful pictures and easy to read passages. I will also be able to differentiate my instruction for all my students, so they will all be able to gain so much in the years to come from these materials. After reading each book, students will be able to answer simple questions about the stories and retell what happened which is huge for this age. This will be a great foundation to build upon for the future.
