Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students are struggling with dealing with disappointment, losing/winning, how to be a good friend, how to regulate their little bodies, etc... I take my role as the facilitator of learning those skills very seriously. I work hard with individual students, groups and classrooms, teaching them how to regulate, how to solve problems and how to have better interpersonal skills.
The items that I have requested will be utilized in both individual sessions with students as well as group work that I do with them to work on particular skills.
