This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our students thrive to learn and improve! Many students however are below grade level in reading and some students are ELLs. All students benefit for having a wealth of vocabulary resources. The more words they are exposed to, the better their reading comprehension!
My Project
Students need to have a rich base of vocabulary in order to succeed in all subject areas! They need to be able to make connections as they read in order to truly comprehend what they are reading. Some of our students will be working completely remotely this year while others will be learning both in school and remotely. Students need a thorough vocabulary program while will supplement the other materials and programs being used in class. They need a program with is engaging and interesting to them, which Spelling City is!
