My name is Brianna and I work in a school for special needs students. I teach a high school 12:1:1 class that has various needs. This school year I am starting donors to choose a page to help get a printer and ink for my classroom.
My students often use picture symbols to communicate and I would like to purchase a color printer for my classroom so I can print symbols to help them communicate more independently.
The students also use these picture symbols to aid them in their school work. Having a printer in our classroom would give my student access to as many symbols as needed instantly. This would improve their academics as well as their communication.
The printer would also be used for our card cart. The students in our school practice their vocational skills every day and this printer would allow us to continue to make cards to sell to our school community.
My students and I would like to thank anyone in advance that is kind enough to donate to give us the resources we need!
