Our school is located in a rural community. We are a Title I school. Our students and their families are diverse, hard-working people that support education.
My class of 21 first graders is an inquisitive, creative group of students.
They love working together and learning new things. These materials will feed their curiosity.
My class will engage in STEAM projects, combining science, technology, engineering, art, and math this year. We need these materials and resources to fully incorporate STEAM into our everyday activities.
My Project
I would like to provide opportunities for my students to build confidence in their technology skills through play. These kits will expose them to coding skills in an engaging and playful way.
I'm asking for three Ozobot Coding kits.
These kits work with both our classroom Chromebooks and the markers included in the kits. My students will have the opportunity to use coding and problem solving skills. Both of these skills will help prepare them for their future academic and work endeavors.
These kits will also promote collaboritive learning experiences. This will build a classroom environment that promotes working together and exploring new skills.
