it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In Kindergarten we practice counting and learn to add and subtract. These are big concepts for little ones and hands on math manipulatives make it easier for them. We do a lot of counting using "collections" of things. The counting items I am asking for will be used in these counting collections.
I am excited to use Rekenrek abacus counters: these making counting faster and easier for the students.
My students also love to use games such as Uno and War (with playing cards.) The white board erasers help us erase our mistakes.
