My Project

Help my special needs students be successful with the use of an updated iPad for the classroom. My students have a variety of disabilities including Specific Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Intellectual Disabilities.

My goals for this project is to enhance their learning skills as research indicates that the Apple I-PAD can be used as an augmentative and alternative communication device for non-verbal learners.

iPads are also proven to be very effective with sensory stimulation as the touch screen can assist the students with fine motor challenges while the visual and auditory students can download many apps that could provide visual,auditory, and tactile learning opportunities.
