Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am a PreK dual language teacher and my students this year have known nothing other than Covid -19 and this is their first exposure to school and learning. I want to be able to provide them with a safe space and comfort while in the classroom. The ABC emotions rug will be used in circle time and hopefully be able to encourage discussion. The bilingual phonics rug and bean bag chairs will be used in the classroom library to provide comfort while students are learning to love reading! My students deserve to learn in a warm and inviting area.
