Help my second graders SOAR - (Safe, Organized, Accountable, Respectful). Our school uses positive reinforcement to help incentivize and motivate student behavior and learning. A part of this is creating a classroom community in which all students feel they have the ability to be safe and successful. Together, we create a classroom economy that includes what we call our SOAR store. Students earn SOAR tickets and then redeem them for a variety of rewards. Some rewards are tangible and seem to be the most popular. My students enjoy small sensory toys such as pop-its, but they also love picking out a new book or using fancy pens, pencils, and markers. Help me purchase fun engaging rewards for my students while providing a welcoming and safe atmosphere in which to lead, learn and SOAR!
