My Project
My students love to read! They look forward to reading time, and we always need new books to keep my library current and comprehensive.
My plan is to enhance my classroom library and infuse it with new and engaging books so that my students can always find a book that will interest them. With these new books, my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
My school is a high-poverty school, so many of my students have limited access to many books. My students are thankful for the opportunities to read in the classroom, and to take home books to read at home. These books have been chosen with my students in mind. This project will only help enrich their experiences with the printed word.
