Help My New Students Feel Safe and Welcomed!

Help me give my students access to a Jellyfish lamp, Social Skills books, and other games and snacks to reward positive behaviors!

My Project

I work between two schools and until recently, have focused all of my efforts on providing for one of the schools. I now have a space at my other school that I can use to work on social-emotional skills with my students.

I need to stock my new space so that these students have equal access to the same materials and activities as the students at my other school.

The requested materials will be used to develop and stock the calming corner. For example, the jellyfish lamp will be used as a visual calming aid. The snacks will be used to ensure students’ basic hunger needs are supported and the games will help teach social and emotional skills.

Also, the games and snacks will be used to reinforce students when they engage in prosocial, positive behaviors. My students try so hard to do the right thing!
