it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are the most caring, thoughtful, and determined individuals! Their motivation to succeed is inspiring. Their ambition and goals in life to do better and be better are infectious. I want my students to know that they are loved and supported and are capable of accomplishing anything they set their minds to. I was once a student in this school, and now I get to return to my students the love and support that this community has given me!
My Project
Like many students right now, my students are trying their best to access the curriculum and be present in their classes during distance learning. Many of my students come from low socio-economic backgrounds and do not have the resources to enhance their distance learning experience.
These computer mice would be a tremendous help to many students who are struggling with their computers.
Most of our students are using old Chromebooks loaned to them by the school. These Chromebooks have touchpads that are faulty or have altogether stopped working. My students are constantly stressed out about having a computer that is not working properly, especially during this time.
I want my students to feel supported and listened to every day. These computer mice will show them that we are trying our best to make sure that their distance learning experience is as positive and stress-free as possible. All students deserve an equal opportunity for success!
