Kindergarten is the beginning to the rest of a student's academic life. It is special place where many children have their first experience with learning outside of their homes. 5 and 6 year old students are naturally wiggly. With the demanding expectation today in kindergarten, many students struggle with staying on through a long school day. Flexible seating helps students focus better by allowing them to move as they. I have picked a variety of materials to meet the variety of needs within the classroom. Whether it is laying on the floor, rocking in a chair, or or bouncing on a ball, my students can find a place to maximize their learning potential within the classroom.
