My Project
My elementary school students really enjoy listening to Playaway audio books borrowed from the school library. Unfortunately, the fact that the audio books cost three to four times as much as a print book has really limited the extent of our audio book collection. Our existing audio books are always checked out and I would love to be able to offer more titles in our library. I know that an expanded collection of audio books would really be appreciated by my students.
The Playaway audio books are loved by many of my students, and audio books are especially helpful for English Language Learners, as well as students reading below grade level.
The students will sometimes borrow the print book to read along as they listen to the audio book. In short, they truly love the audio books!
