My Students

I work in a high need school with wonderful Kindergarten children. They are eager to learn and have a great time doing so. They love to listen to stories and are very interested in learning how to read books on their own. My little ones are ready to start reading!

I am returning to Kindergarten after many years of teaching Pre-K and I am entering a classroom with no leveled library for guided reading.

Guided reading is a way to teach children to read at their level in small groups. Our class desperately needs a variety of guided reading books so I can teach them how to read.

My Project

Do you remember the first time you picked up a book and read it on your own? The pride and joy you felt when you were truly independent in reading? I hope to give that to my Kindergarten students. They are so interested in books but our class needs interesting and varied books to help the children learn how to read.

By donating to our class, you will give one of the most important gifts to my students that they can receive, knowledge.

Not only can they learn to read through our new books but they can learn all of the wonderful information in these books. You can help them learn to love literature by providing us with books that will engage them in interesting stories. We would be so grateful for the gift of reading and knowledge you can provide us with. Please donate to this worthy cause! Thank you!
