As a STEM teacher for grades 1–4 in a small-town elementary school, I’m constantly inspired by my young engineers' creativity and problem-solving skills. They come up with amazing ideas for building and designing during our projects—but there's one big challenge: cutting cardboard.
Right now, most of my students struggle to cut through cardboard with their standard kid scissors.
For safety reasons, I often end up doing all the cutting myself, which limits their independence and takes time away from hands-on learning. That’s why this tool would be a game-changer for our classroom.
It’s not only safe for little hands, but also incredibly effective—allowing students to make precise, clean cuts all on their own. Best of all, it’s easy enough for every student to use, including those with disabilities. With this tool, every child in my classroom will be able to bring their ideas to life more efficiently and safely. It will empower them to take full ownership of their projects and feel the pride of creating something start to finish.
