My Project
Hello! My name is Mx. Cummins, and I work at a low income middle and high school in Antioch, TN. We are a small but mighty school, comprising of many EL, disabled, and economically disadvantaged students. We have good kids, but many of them have not been given the resources they need to reach their full potential in school. Due to this, I believe these kids deserve the highest quality education in order to take the reins on their future.
By investing in my project, you will be giving low-income students the opportunity to pursue an education of the same quality as their more privileged peers.
Due to the nature of the school, many of the items I need are basic school supplies, sets of headphones to pursue online learning, and storage so that I can keep my classroom organized. I will additionally be requesting food and "treasure" items, both to keep students motivated and to provide food to students who may not get it at home.
Remember, any donation to my project is tax-deductible, and it will go directly into helping my sixth grade science and social studies classes. I care deeply for these kids, and I wholeheartedly believe that these materials will make their classroom experience more enriching. Thank you in advance!
