My Project
Please help our 25-26 HMS Cheerleaders have their best year ever! Many of these students have never cheered and are so excited to begin this adventure. We are a Title 1 school which means we have the struggle that most of our students come from an economically disadvantaged background. Our cheer uniforms, shoes, backpacks and camp fees have been extremely high. As their Cheer Coach, there is no way I could ask their parents for more money but there are still a few items needed. We greatly appreciate any donation big or small! I would love for my cheerleaders to have a positive experience with all the supplies necessary and even a few fun things as well!
Although each cheerleader has already paid over $800 each, we still need a few items in order to be fully prepared for our cheer season.
We need rain jackets so that we do not have to cheer in the rain. Southeast Texas is notorious for a rainy fall. We would love to promote breast cancer awareness with the pink poms and pink bows. To promote school spirit and enthusiasm we would like to get the red jerseys and add our mascot in vinyl to the front. We could wear these throughout the whole school year on game days. (our cheerleaders can not wear their uniforms during school) The footballs and foam fingers are to get our fans hyped up by throwing these out to the crowd during games and pep rallies. I have also included snacks and candy for our cheer camp. These are long, strenuous days where a snack could provide a quick pick me up.
