This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are eager to learn how to read and write. They just need motivation to do it. With your help, my students will get colorful notebooks, folders and pencils to start their writing journey.
I work with Tier II and Tier III students who are below reading level.
Most of these students struggle at home and consequently at school to get the materials required for each subject. In addition, a big percentage of my groups are Beginners EB (Learning English).
This is the reason I want to ask for your help to give them an equal opportunity to succeed at School. Next year, I want to offer a space where they can feel secure and loved without worries about materials or resources.
