My Students
I teach at a middle school in Florida. All of my students receive free breakfast and lunch.
My students are amazing!!
They are a very diverse group of individuals and all enjoy different things. I want to bring new sports into their learning experience that will help them find a love and passion to live a healthy lifestyle.
My Project
These portable nets will reach almost 1400 students a year at my school. Not only will it help in one sport but multiple sports. I can use these nets for badminton, modified tennis, pickleball, and soccer tennis just to name a few.
The nets will also, help my students become more aware of sports played in different cultures around the world.
Not only will the nets expose them to different cultures, but they will also help them become open-minded to trying new things. In sports such as these net games, my students will also have to learn to be principled when having to make the call on if it was in or out based on it hitting the line or not.
