My Students
"I left my homework in homeroom!" "I ran out of paper, so I can't take notes!" "I lost my notes from last week!", three quotes I hear on a daily basis. The key to classroom success, is organization and responsibility, two qualities I would like to impart on my students.
Our school is a small public school in a high poverty area.
My class is quick witted, and full of laughter. My students love school and bring a positive attitude to the classroom. They are amazing kids, with big dreams and tons of potential!
My Project
I am requesting 2 class sets of binders with dividers to aid in the organization and responsibility of my students. Each student will have a binder that they will carry daily as we switch classes for each subject. It will keep their notes organized and all in one place, so that they will not lose their homework, or forget it in their desk. It will also cut down on clutter in the classroom, and help keep our learning environment neat and clean! My students will learn to be responsible for their notes and classwork, and I will collect their binders regularly to make sure they are keeping up with their notes and classwork. They will also learn to be organized, keeping each subjects notes in a separated tab.
By donating to our project, you are giving my students a chance to learn a valuable life skill.
They will become organized individuals who are responsible and productive members of our school learning community!
