Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a first year teacher, teaching 4th and 5th grade, I want to support the students during this pandemic. I teach where students come from low-income families. I have roughly 28 students in my class for the 20/21 school year. I want to ensure my students have what they need to be successful at home when distance learning.
My Project
We have gotten word that our school will be using a distance learning model of instruction until it is deemed safe to go back into our classrooms in our area. This will be a start to support my classroom, and students during distance learning! The students and I appreciate any donations and all the support during this time.
Many of the students are in low-income demographics, and need extra supplies to be successful at home.
The classroom supplies will help us to have a successful school year. Thank you for your support!
