Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This is the beginning to the very first ever band at Quest High School. As a lifelong music fan and previous band participant/instructor, this is something I am incredibly passionate about. The arts are proven to help out students who are in less than ideal situations within their own lives, and what better way to make a difference than through music?
Brass bands go back well into the early 20th century and have stood out amongst the various types of musical groups, and as such, I feel I benefit this age group the best.
As many schools are cutting the arts, I am determined to bring it back into my school a thriving school. Please help me make this happen!
