My Students

I teach the sweetest little first graders. They are all from military families. A lot of them have one or sometimes both parents on deployment. They have a true love of learning and I consider myself fortunate to be their teacher.

My kids are mostly from low-income families who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch and breakfast.

There is no other population of kids that I would rather teach. A lot of them need just a little bit more tender, loving care than perhaps other children do. Thanks for reading about my students.

My Project

Thank you for considering donating to my classroom. My first graders missed out on their Kindergarten year (in the classroom) because of COVID. They would benefit from having costumes to dress up in and use social play with their peers. I have noticed that they are lacking in interaction skills. I also have four children in my class with autism. I know that playing dress up and using dolls will help them with their language. My class is dear and this the year we need to help them get caught up in all areas. Thank you so much for your consideration.
