This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in a Title I school with students who are new to the country. Aside from the COVID learning loss these student come from immigrant and low income homes. Please help me inspire these children and give them an education for a better future. I want these children to be inspired and know that they can have a better future with hard work. I’d like to keep them motivated and enjoy learning with hands on fun activities. The materials I chose will provide fun learning to inspire them to learn.
The dominoes will be used for center time for my students with literacy and to help these second language learners.
The mathematical materials will be used to help with place value and learning with numbers. I plan on using scholastic news for reading and comprehension.
