How will the specific items you’re requesting make a difference in their learning?
The printer will allow me to create customized speech therapy materials tailored to each student's unique needs.
With printed communication boards, articulation worksheets, social stories, and interactive visuals, students will have hands-on tools to support their learning. Having access to printed resources will enhance engagement, reinforce learning, and provide consistency across therapy sessions and the classroom. This will help students improve their communication skills, build confidence, and achieve their speech and language goals.
What are your goals for this project?
My goal is to ensure that every student in speech therapy has the visual and interactive resources they need to succeed. By having a reliable printer, I can quickly create and adapt materials to meet their evolving needs. This project will support students in developing their communication skills, improving social interactions, and gaining independence in expressing themselves. Additionally, it will allow me to collaborate more effectively with teachers and families by providing take-home resources that reinforce learning outside of therapy sessions.
What makes your students special?
My students are incredible, resilient, and eager to learn. They come from diverse backgrounds and face unique communication challenges, but they work hard every day to express themselves and connect with others. Whether they are learning to say their first words, improving their speech sounds, or using AAC devices, they inspire me with their determination and progress. They deserve every possible resource to help them succeed, and this project will provide the tools they need to grow, learn, and find their voices.
