My Project
As a new teacher, I feel overwhelmed with all of the supplies I have. I was given plenty of books, but they are scattered around the room and they do not have a proper home. I am in need of a bookshelf to house the books I was given for my 9th and 10th graders. I have students who love to read and I am trying to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere in my classroom. I would like to set up at least one bookshelf for students to choose independent reading books from and to access throughout the year to build their reading skills.
I am also a teacher that started teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic so I am not used to having to work with so much paper.
Right now, my papers are extremely disorganized and shoved into different drawers. An organizer that has a slot for each day of the week will help me immensely with organizing lesson plans and handouts for my different classes.
