This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I’m requesting, including a Cricut kit, will help create a clutter-free classroom, allowing students to easily find the materials they need during small group rotations. This organization is crucial for fostering independence and efficiency, as students will be able to locate activities and resources without disruption. The Cricut kit, in particular, will benefit my gifted students by providing them with advanced tools to explore their creativity and engage in complex, self-directed projects. It allows them to design and produce materials that challenge their abilities and push the boundaries of their learning. My English Language Learner students would benefit as well with a visually enriched environment. Additionally, having a space for organized data binders for each student will streamline our data chat sessions, enabling them to quickly access and review their weekly test results, promoting self-reflection and goal-setting.
My primary goal is to enhance classroom organization to support a student-led environment.
By ensuring that materials are easily accessible, students can take ownership of their learning, confidently navigate their tasks during small group rotations, and track their progress independently. This project empowers all students to be self-sufficient, responsible, and engaged in their educational journey.
My students are unique in their eagerness to learn and their potential to thrive in a well-structured environment. They are curious, motivated, and capable of taking charge of their learning when given the right tools. The gifted students, in particular, have a remarkable ability to dive deep into complex tasks and express their creativity.
