My students need of a binding machine and book pouches to keep their papers organized. It will help them focus on classwork and not in keeping many papers organized.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Help us keep our hands mess free. My students need a book binder to keep organized their papers by subjects. Instead of having many papers, they will have all their papers bind into a book. We also need the book baggies to keep our books organized.
My students are Kindergarten students, most of them 5 years old.
They are also English Language Learners, some of them don't speak a word of English. This is the first school experience to many of them. I don't want them to feel overwhelm with the amount of papers that we will be collecting throughout the whole school year. If I train them to keep our papers as a book and our books in a book baggie, it will make everyone's school experience a positive one. Our school is located in a high poverty community. Getting a book binder and book baggies will make my students to keep papers and books organized.
My Project
Imagine you are five, learning English and never been in school. Then you have a teacher giving you many papers and books. As a five year old, it's really hard to handle many items that they never saw before. I am planning to use the book binder to keep all their papers together by subject. For example, I will collect their monthly writing and make a book every month. Also, I would turn all the math papers into a math book. The book baggies will help them to keep all their books together and make it personal. Each student will get a personal book baggie where they will keep their own books.
Kindergarten is a very challenging grade to teach.
To many students, it is their first school experience. It could be overwhelming to them. By having a book binder in our classroom, we can have more organization and students will learn to keep their papers more organized. The book baggies will help them to take care of their own books. Please help us keep our little hands mess free!
