This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I'm trying to find options for students to enjoy being in the classroom. Flexible seating allows some students to find a comfortable spot to sit in and be part of the classroom.

Our DESTRESS zone is for students to take a break and color on the giant poster we have in the back.

They can use the markers and color in the poster to release some stress of the classroom that is affecting them.

The additional books will give the students something more to choose from in their reading time. I've moved grade levels and my kindergarten and 1st grade books aren't too appealing for 5th grade. Adding to my library has been a challenge but others have been very generous.
