My Students

Who knew that we would all be forced to leave the comfort and safety of our classroom without the benefit of saying goodbye to our students. We were all caught unawares and unprepared for the challenges and obstacles that distance learning would present.

My students have since scattered across the 5 boroughs of New York City without the tools needed to continue their education from their shelter in place locations.

Our school prides itself on its college placement numbers. Now, these very same students will need to gear up for the rigors of college. Unfortunately, not every student has the financial ability to purchase the necessary supplies for life after high school.

My Project

Our students will not have the same graduation experience that you and I remember as COVID has taken that away from them.

Some students lack access to the tech and internet service to receive instruction and fully participate in distance learning and will struggle once in college.

To help such a student, I am requesting these essential supplies that will allow a student to join our on-line distance learning classes now, and make the transition to college a little bit easier.

We are all trying to make the educational process as least stressful as possible during these trying times. Help me make a senior's graduation day memorable.
