My Students
Our school is below the poverty level, with several English Language Learners in each class. We are as close to being a Title I school as you can get without actually being one. As you might know, Title I schools receive extra assistance in many areas, but because we technically aren't one, we don't receive this extra assistance.
I love our school and the sweet, accepting students who go there.
Maybe it's because their circumstances are humble that they are so accepting and good to each other. They appreciate every little thing I am able to give them.
My Project
The items I am requesting will definitely be used at home to help students transport headphones, correct assignments, and write on their individual whiteboards. Some items I am requesting would provide me with helpful tools while working from home, such a printer and a laminating machine. Most of these items can be used both at home and at school. The translator I am requesting would help me so much to communicate with students who just barely learning English. Lastly, students could each take a book home about a historical person or event, learn about them, and then teach each other using a recorder.
