This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
With the Covid-19 pandemic, my students are doing distance learning by using technology. I'm teaching and assigning work by using Microsoft Teams. My students are learning math and science from me on a daily basis. Every day I hold class meetings where I teach students. Through these online interactions, my students are able to learn and communicate with each other.
My Project
During this time of Covid-19, learning is taking place online. I meet with my students daily to teach them math and science. One of my greatest challenges is being able to hear my students and my students hearing me. With the use of noise-canceling headphones I will be able to hear my students better and thus help us communicate back and forth. With my home being my work location there is still plenty of background noise. My spouse is also a teacher, and I have two children who are also learning online. The AirPods cancellation will take out the exterior noise and help me hear my students without any distractions.
